Mr. Risto E.J. Penttilä starts off his message by discussing the economic outlook for Finland. Slow growth, budget deficiet and aging population are all rising concerns.  However, despite these obstacles, he points out that there is also some good news.  The gaming industry has really found a hub in Finland with Supercell, Angry Birds and other gaming companies really gaining ground. Mr. Penttilä highlights that another piece of good news is that the young people have found entrepreneurship. One example is "Slush Event", an event where venture capitalists and entrepreneurs come together in Helsinki. Finland also has numerous profitable global companies. Kone is doing fantastic business globally, especially in Asia, as is the case with Wärtsilä. These are good example of solid businesses cases found in Finland. Mr. Penttilä also emphasizes the fact that Nokia is recovering surprisingly well and its share price is developing nicely. Risto states that he believes in the future of post-mobile-phones Nokia, a view that is shared by many in Finland. Mr. Penttilä concludes his season's greetings with the message:  "There are plently of things to be proud of, and plently of reasons to be thankful this holiday season.
